Shaken or Stirred: Cayman Cocktail Week 2021
For many of us a glass of wine, beer or vodka soda is our standard drink order, but the organisers of Cayman Cocktail Week are here to shake things up. For the past 9 years, this booze-filled series has showcased the island’s best mixologists and bartenders by promoting specialty menus and unique events. Not every bar participates in the official Cayman Cocktail Week (October 22-28th), but this year over 30 of them have created cocktail menus to highlight their team’s creations throughout the month of October.
When Cocktail Week officially arrives you can expect daily events that target every budget, style and format, from cocktail workshops and high-end dinners to happy hours and late night parties. I’m most excited to attend the Party Pairings workshop with Chef Joe Hughes and bartender extraordinaire Amba Lamb, the Chai and Chaat Indian brunch by Chef Muthu of Cracked Conch, and Agua’s modern art inspired dinner, ‘The Art of the Cocktail (Part 2)’.
Visit the Cayman Cocktail Week website and have a look at all of their events before they sell out. Follow my #CaymanCocktailWeek experiences on Instagram and Facebook and check in below for blogs and photo gallerys of the events.
Cheers!

Blog: Party Pairings with Chef Joe Hughes & Amba Lamb
Most of us know that red wine pairs well with steak and burgers with beers, but what about cocktails? That’s exactly what Cayman Cocktail Week’s Party Pairings event, hosted by bartender extraordinaire Amba Lamb and Chef Joe Hughes of Bay Side, was all about.
